Of course, convenience is just one side of things. They also have to feel comfortable… and hey, if you attach them to your phone, won’t you risk sitting on them?

Plus, since they’re so thin, won’t they be even MORE flimsy than my old readers?

The only downside I could find is that they currently only offer four strengths: +1.0, +1.5, +2.0, and +2.5. Thankfully, they had my strength, but those who need stronger magnification might not find what they’re looking for yet.

I’m extremely impressed by ThinOptics^® — I’m confident they’re the last pair of readers I’ll ever need!

ThinOptics^® have made my life so much more convenient… now I never have to worry about bringing my reading glasses along with me. And I doubt I’ll need to replace them any time soon!

Are ThinOptics^® reading glasses durable? Will they break?

ThinOptics^® are shatterproof and extremely durable, yet comfortable and secure.

ThinOptics^® reading glasses are made from thermo-injection molded optical grade polycarbonate, which is shatter proof and frequently used in safety and ballistic (bullet proof) eyewear. The bridge is made from Nitinol, which is 10x more elastic than spring steel. The Nitinol bridge is encased in medical grade silicone tubing, and anchored in the injection molded polycarbonate frame.

Are the lenses high quality, when it comes to reading?

The optical grade polycarbonate used in ThinOptics^® reading glasses is the same material that is regularly found in high-end Prescription Eyeglasses. Our lenses are made by one of the largest and most advanced optical lens manufacturers in the world.

Will ThinOptics^® reading glasses fit on my nose?

ThinOptics^® has designed their reading glasses in both full frame and pince nez designs. ThinOptics^® glasses will fit the vast majority of noses. The original readers can be positioned anywhere on your nose; higher up the nose to fit right in front of the eyes or for smaller or flatter bridges, they can be positioned to fit right above the nostrils. Of course, our full frame options can fit most and have arms to hold securely. We have tested hundreds of different combinations of nose pad angles and widths to arrive at the optimal design for the majority of noses.

Will ThinOptics^® reading glasses remain securely on my nose?

Under normal reading conditions ThinOptics^® reading glasses will remain in place. The highly elastic bridge exerts a slight amount of pressure to keep the readers in place.

What if ThinOptics^® reading glasses don't fit or feel right on my nose?

We are so confident in our ThinOptics^® reading glasses that we will refund 100% of your purchase if you are not completely satisfied with either their fit or comfort within 30 days. If you need to request a return, please email us at support@thinoptics.com.

Is there a money back guarantee?

If you're not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund or an exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase. The exchange must be of equal value to the original purchase. We will only refund/exchange after 30 days due to manufacturer defects or defects caused by normal wear and tear.

Is there a warranty?

ThinOptics^® reading glasses are covered by a limited 6-month warranty. ThinOptics^® warranty does not cover:

• Improper or unreasonable use
• Scratched lenses
• Damage from normal wear and tear
• Normal wear and tear includes scratches on lenses, bent frames, and other issues that may arise from the insertion of glasses into the case repeatedly
• Damage from pets, vehicles and/or general negligence
• Lost or stolen glasses
• Lost screws
• Accidental Damage
• Altered products
• Replacement products are not warrantied.
• Warranty is valid on original purchase only.

When can I expect my order?

Are ThinOptics^® reading glasses comfortable?

ThinOptics^® reading glasses are extremely comfortable to wear! Thanks to the spring-loaded Nitinol bridge, they weigh less than a nickel and put only gentle pressure on the sides of the nose. This also makes them easier and quicker to put on. You’ll never want to go back to glasses with temples bothering your ears!

What are the dimensions of the case?

Our Universal Pod cases are designed to attach to any hard flat surface or to carry in your pocket or wallet. The dimensions on the Universal Pod case are 3.75 inches x 1.9375 inches. The thickness is 3/16's of an inch, approximately 3 credit cards.
